Might I be correct in thinking there wil be no further updates to the 4.x or 3.x versions of QuickDNS?
I hope you will find it possible to post simple instructions (and reasonably priced upgrade paths) for those of us who have been running just fine with those older versions for several years, such that we can relatively quickly and easily -- and without disruption to our ongoing DNS -- shift from the old environment to the new.
Myself, I'll be going from a 3.5.3 instance (still running quite happily on Mac OS 8.6 on a Power Computing clone, thank you very much), through a 4.5.x upgrade already purchased and provisioned (which had been awaiting sufficiently powerful hardware surplus to get Mac OS X running beneath), to whatever the now-required version is, on a G4 prematurely removed from other service ...
Be seeing you,
Ted

Your version 4.5 license(s) is/are valid with version 4.6.1. The process would be as follows:
Export your data from the old server using AppleScript, provided with QuickDNS Manager 3.5.x for Mac OS 8/9.
Install QuickDNS 4.6.1 (Central, Remote, and Manager) on the new server. (Manager can go on any Mac OS X machine, actually, for this purpose.)
Import your exported data from the old server into the new server. There is an AppleScript provided with QuickDNS Manager to do this.
Upgrade your BIND version (go to 9.3.5-P2) on the new server using the instructions already posted here.
You can certainly upgrade your installation beyond that point, to Men & Mice Suite 5.7.1. There are lots of nice new features. The procedure above, however, is pretty much the minimal amount of effort to get you on an updated version of BIND.
